The little lamb bouncer is almost identical to this in appearance and comfort but does not bounce - it's stationary. This is the best of both worlds because it is very cozy for a new baby yet has the ability to actually bounce (you have to use your hand to make it bounce - it's not automatic). Also, while both the little lamb bouncer and this bouncer have a vibrate feature, the little lamb shuts off after 10 minutes. This bouncer's vibrate stays on until you turn it off. It cradles him well as if I were still holding him and is nice and sturdy. The assembly was easy and took only about 30 minutes. We took off the birdie mobile because it was getting in the way. It's simple to remove and put back on though so maybe as he gets older we will put it back on and possibly hang other toys from it too!The reasons for the 4 instead of the 5 stars are as follows: 1.) It is a bit bulkier than other bouncy seats and the legs stick out farther than the basket of the seat, so we have tripped over the legs multiple times. It's hard to judge where the legs are when carrying baby!! 2.) It goes through batteries quickly. We are on our third set of batteries in 8 weeks.
