If you plan to use this swing more than an hour or two a day you will be changing batteries constantly. And it takes 4 D batteries. Also, before the swing actually dies it stops swinging. It will click and sway a tiny bit but needs a nudge to get going and stay going. It is perfect napping spot and she also just sits happily cooing away in it....but we put 4 new D batteries into this thing at LEAST every 2 weeks. We already had the motor replaced as well (within first 2 months of having it!).
