1 of 1 people found the following review helpful: great for older babies, By Tatyana (MA,USA) - See all my reviews This review is from: Fisher-Price Lil Laugh and Learn Swing (Baby Product) the swing is great!it's colorful and it has a lot of diferent songs.the only thing is that its made for the older kids because there is no option to lay the baby, only to seat, and newborns most of the time lay.i'm sure when my baby gets older (5-6 months) she will love it. 1 of 1 people found the following review helpful: Nice & Cute Swing, But..., By D (Yokota AB, Japan) - See all my reviews Amazon Verified Purchase This review is from: Fisher-Price Lil Laugh and Learn Swing (Baby Product) I like this swing for the most part. It's colorful & it has plenty of animals for my three month old baby to look at. I didn't want to get a dull-looking swing. She also seems to like the music, although the vocals in some of the songs get annoying to me after awhile. So, I'm glad it has two volume levels. It swings about the same speed no matter how high you adjust the level. I wouldn't recommend it if you don't have a lot of room because the legs do spread out quite a bit (good for stability of course) and we have a somewhat spacious apartment. For that, I would go with a travel swing. My baby usually falls asleep in it & other times, she fusses & wants to get out. It depends on each baby on how they will like it. 2 of 3 people found the following review helpful: Not good for larger babies, By This review is from: Fisher-Price Lil Laugh and Learn Swing (Baby Product) I bought this when my second child was born. He was 9lbs 5ozs. This swing has lots to look at when they are small but by the time my son was 15lbs (3 months) the swing really didn't work very well. The speeds were super slow. I called Fisher Price and received a new motor under warranty but it did not help. It just isn't powerful enough for a larger/heavier baby. I purchased a different old fashion swing and it works GREAT. My son is now 24lbs and this new swing still has 2 more speeds we can use! |
