5.0 out of 5 stars Exactly what I wanted!, January 20, 2012

I was extremely pleased with this product. I looked at several online and decided on this one based upon the details, description, photo and I was not disappointed. It was exactly what I had hoped I was purchasing. It arrived on time and I was extremely pleased with Amazon's service. As for the product itself, my granddaughter enjoys it very much and it has helped my daughter by allowing her to be close to the baby while not necessarily having her in her arms. Really a great mother's helper!

4.0 out of 5 stars Great little seat, December 16, 2011
This review is from: Fisher-Price Hoppy Days Lightweight Bouncer (Baby Product)
Our little one has made great use of this bouncer. It was the only place she would nap as a newborn and now that she is 3 months old she is grabbing onto the toys and bouncing herself. The toy bar is limited but we've just hung other items on it to keep her entertained. It is so light and easy to move around the house. And I love the frog design.

5.0 out of 5 stars Good alternative to doorway jumper, May 26, 2011

This review is from: Fisher-Price Adorable Animals Jumperoo (Baby Product)
We bought the Jumperoo after we had to return the Graco Jump 'N Jive. We have an old house, and the Jive clasp wouldn't fit around our 6.5" tall, 7.5" thick doorway trim. The Jumperoo is a good compromise between the larger floor-supported jumpers and the smaller doorway jumpers.

Pros:
1) Smaller size than many floor-supported jumpers. When unfolded it measures roughly 31"w 32"h 36"d.
2) Folds up and can easily be carried through a doorway and leaned against a wall for temporary storage. When folded, the depth decreases from 36" to 15". The seat unit extends beyond this a bit. How much depends on the angle of the lean.
3) Supports are hollow metal that are lightweight, strong, and appear to occupy less space because of simple, minimal design.
4) Can turn sound on or off.
5) Attached toys seem fun and interesting to our 5-month-old.
6) Stays in place when in use; does not migrate along wood floors like swings do (though our daughter is... Read more

5.0 out of 5 stars Jumperoo, August 26, 2011

My son Michael was almost 5 months when I got this. He had so much energy and not a good way to get it out.

He loves his jumper. He especially loves it when people jump with him.

I highly recommend this jumper to anyone with an energetic little one that needs an outlet for excess energy.

It is simple and entertaining.

It is not hard to put together.

4.0 out of 5 stars Sure, why not?, September 17, 2011

Not amazing, but no problems! I would definitely buy this product again but you should know that as far as jumpers go, it's not super amazing. A friend has a more elaborate jumper with loads of more toys and maybe that is a better choice. This product does jump well however and our son likes being in it for about 15 minutes at a time. Easy to assemble and the toys attached are fine, nothing to write home about but they keep him nominally entertained. For the price, it's a good buy.

1.0 out of 5 stars bad chair, July 18, 2007
By
This review is from: Fisher-Price Papasan Seat (Baby Product)
please do yourself a favor and DO NOT buy this product. I love the swing and highly recommend the brand but this seat is a waste. I have twins and currently own 6 bouncy seats. These are by far the WORST product that I have come across from FP. I think as adults we look at it and think "Hmmmm fluffy and comfy -- if I was a baby thats where I would want to be". There are two main issues with this chair

1. most babies (7 of the 8 I know) grow out of this in three months
2. the vibration turns off after 15 minutes and most babies wake up

buy the Sensory Selections bouncer by FP. I am still using it 6 months later. Everyone that bought the papasan chair that I know is upset at the high cost and low functionality. Two other mommys subsequently bought the Sensory selections one

Try to find a used one if you really think that it is great. The whole thing is washable so you don't have to worry about cleaning another kids germs off

I agree with... Read more

2.0 out of 5 stars too hot for warm weather, July 22, 2007
By
Nicole (San Diego, CA) - See all my reviews
This review is from: Fisher-Price Papasan Seat (Baby Product)
I wish I had known before ordering this seat that the cushion is a fuzzy fleece. Now that the weather is warmer (70-75 degrees) my 2 month old gets hot and sweaty in this seat. He likes his other seat which has a breathable fabric, but he cries in this one. I'm sure it's because he is just too hot.

If your baby is due in the winter, this would be a very cozy seat for him or her.

1.0 out of 5 stars Cozy but Dangerous!, April 12, 2008
By
This review is from: Fisher-Price Papasan Seat (Baby Product)
I've enjoyed having this infant seat; however, my daughter is just 2.5 months old, and has cut her heel on the control box panel. She is still the under the size specified for use, and her feet dangle off the front, even while strapped in. Being the active baby she is, she likes to kick her feet when she looks around. One day I found blood on her heel near her achilles tendon, later I found dried blood on the corner of the control box, right where her foot sits. I'm very upset and plan to write Fisher-Price.

This is a cozy little seat, my daughter loves it, but if you can only use it for a month of two before it gets dangerous, it's not worth it. :(
